Privacy Policy.

Effective date: March 1, 2026

dayfed, Inc. ("dayfed", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address. If you later create an account we collect your name, professional history, and any preferences you configure.

Information collected automatically

We collect aggregated, anonymised analytics data (page views, session duration) via Vercel Analytics. We do not store your IP address or create individual user profiles from this data.

Information from third parties

If you choose to sign in with a third-party provider (e.g. LinkedIn, Google), we receive only the profile fields you authorise during that OAuth flow.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate and improve dayfed, send you product updates you've requested, match candidates to relevant roles, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Data sharing

We share your data only with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. cloud infrastructure, email delivery) under strict data-processing agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will honour deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal obligations to retain certain records.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@dayfed.com.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

dayfed is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the site at least 14 days before taking effect.
